nerida 463 years agois this ticketed seating or can you buy tickets and then get stuck down the front?

Julie Brown 456 years agoThe Theatre doesn't have ticketed seating due to the nature and configuration of the auditorium. The Theatre is however steeply raked and we condider all seats to have a good view of the screen. Some people do prefer to sit closer to the front and others prefer the back - it's personal choice. We just recommend you arrive early during the first couple of weeks of a new release film to ensure the best chance of sitting in your preferred area.

Ash 432 years agoThe IMAX website says that Star Trek is showing on IMAX for a limited time only. Can you tell me when it will stop showing on IMAX? I want to see it on IMAX but the earliest I can do that is probably 30th June 2009.

Julie Brown, IMAX Theatre Sydney 427 years agoIn some IMAX theatres Star Trek has a limited season. Here in Sydney, the film will play as long as there is interest from audiences. However, we'll be launching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (with some scenes shot with IMAX cameras similar to The Dark Knight) on 24 June, so I'd definitely try and make it to Star Trek BEFORE June 30, otherwise you might miss out.

Julie Brown, IMAX Theatre Sydney 424 years agoStar Trek is a 2D film digitally enhanced for the giant screen using proprietary IMAX remastering technology, known as "DMR" in the biz. While the film is not in 3D and maintains its traditional "letterbox" format, it is projected a whopping 35 metres wide on the biggest cinema in the world. This certainly ain't no plain movie... come and see for yourself.
