BEWARE OF FAKE IMAX TICKETS
Thursday, January 7 by Julie Brown
If you are a MYMAX member, you may have recently participated in our online survey. Thanks to everyone who did provide their feedback!
As a thank you for participating, we issued survey respondents with a FREE IMAX TICKET VOUCHER like the one below:
Please note that this voucher is SINGLE USE ONLY and features a unique barcode that will be scanned at the Theatre. Do not copy and distribute this ticket to your friends or family as they will not be able to use it if it HAS ALREADY BEEN REDEEMED.
If you DID NOT participate in the IMAX Theatre Sydney online survey and have received a voucher from a third party (friend, family or via email), please be aware that it is NOT VALID and will not be accepted at the Theatre.
Thanks for your understanding. We do look foward to welcoming you to the Theatre soon!

Ian Gregory 757 years agoI received. But, how can I participate in the online survey? Sound like this is a great way to receive customer response!!
-
Julie Brown, IMAX Theatre Sydney 757 years agoThe survey was sent to a random selection of MYMAX subscribers and has now closed. We will continue to undertake surveys in the future and offer promotions exclusive to MYMAX members. For now, only those who completed the survey received a ticket. The ticket is one-use only, which means once it's been redeemed at the box office, the same ticket can't be used again.

Aaron 753 years agoimax is a very good cinema. i very like it and have been there many times.
-
Jess 753 years agoThanks for posting this on your site. I was sent the voucher and just assumed I could use it. Perhaps it would be great in future to write this in the small print, something along the lines of it being a single-use ticket. Thanks!
-
Mark Bretherton, IMAX Theatre Sydney 753 years agoIt is actually in the small print at the bottom of the voucher (second sentence), however in future we will make the wording more precise and perhaps larger. Each voucher also has an unique barcode, once that barcode has been used it cannot be used again.
-
Jess 753 years agoThanks for your response! Something mentioning the unique barcode would be much clearer.

craig 751 years agoI was lucky! the email forwarded to me allowed me to redeem the ticket before whoever the legitimate winner was - eat sh1t! hahahaha
-
Lily Thai 751 years agoOMG! I can't believe the email I received was a HOAX! I am very disappointed that Imax would allow such a thing to happen and as such am now out of pocket for a babysitter and dinner. Thanks a lot. Nothing like spending money to use a free ticket only to be turned into an all-day-sucker.
-
nick 750 years agoLily Thai - Not sure how you figure it's the people at IMAX fault, or that they would allow this to happen. Point is, this was sent around by various people (possibly the original recipients), in the same vein that the 'friends and family' offers get emailed to everyone. In this instance however it wasn't a similar offer and people should read the fine print! If its too good to be true, it usually is!

Cam 746 years agoHenry got an iPhone and it was the happiest day of his life. Sure.... what an unlikely comment. Good grief, Aaron...you would be better spending time in school rather than iMax...at least until you can write a sentence that makes sense. Lily Thai....would you be interested in some land for sale on North Head?
-
Cam is a cock sucker 666 years agoHey Cam instead of Reading everyones comments and giving *** feedback why don't you get a life and *** off why do you expect that it's very unlikely for somone to win something for nothing and be happy? Seriousley get a life you moron!
-
James Patterson 666 years agoWoah dude that guys write you really need to get a life! Wtf are you like a perverted cyber stalker who reads peoples comments and gives homosexual replys on random people you don't even know!
