Ideal for HSC Business Studies students, the Big Screen Business program includes:

- 30 min Student Talk and Powerpoint™ presentation in the IMAX auditorium
- Talks begin at 9.15am from 2008; arrival by 9.00am is essential
- Film screening, to sample the “IMAX product”
- Detailed resources for teachers on each key area of HSC curriculum
- Student Activity Sheets for use during the Talk and afterwards

Cost: $14.00 per student, includes a 30min presentation in the IMAX Theatre using Powerpoint, followed by a 45min film screening in either 2D or 3D. Resources sent to teachers on CD.

JOINT EXCURSION PACKAGE: "BACK TO BUSINESS" IN DARLING HARBOUR
Create a full-day Business Studies excursion with 2 great case studies located within the tourist and leisure precinct of Darling Harbour. Visit the LG IMAX Theatre to learn some of the secrets behind this big screen business, then walk just 5 mins along the Cockle Bay waterfront to Sydney Aquarium to examine the marketing strategies employed by Australia’s No. 1 attraction.

PLAN YOUR DAY:
We suggest the following plan for your day:

9.00am Meet at the IMAX Theatre Sydney
9.15am IMAX Big Screen Business Talk
10.00am IMAX film screening
11.00am Morning Tea/ Early Lunch on Cockle Bay boardwalk, while completing IMAX marketing worksheets
12.00am Sydney Aquarium Marketing Lecture
1.00pm Self Guided tour of Aquarium
2.00pm Return to school

All times may be altered to suit individual school needs, with the exception of the IMAX Business Talk which takes place at 9.15am only.

Joint Excursion Cost
$26.00 per student, includes the IMAX Business Talk and Film ($13.00) and Sydney Aquarium’s Marketing Case Study and self guided tour ($13.00).

Please note payment is required separately to each venue on the day of the excursion. 1 teacher for every 10 students is admitted free.
