ABC ULTIMO CENTRE TOURS

IMAX + ABC Ultimo Centre Tour

Take a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the ABC Radio & TV studios in Ultimo. There are 2 tours daily (up to 45 students divided into 3 x groups of 15) per tour, at 9.50am and 12.20pm. As the site is a working space, no tour is ever the same, but is likely to include a visit to one of two state of the art digital television studios, an on air radio studio, news studio and control room, as well as an insight into other areas such as Archives and New Media.

AUSTRALIAN MUSEUM: DINOSAURS

IMAX Dinosaurs 3D + 'Dinosaurs' exhibition

Combine a screening of the popular IMAX film Dinosaurs 3D, with a visit to the new permanent exhibition 'Dinosaurs'.

Encounter an amazing array of dinosaurs in this exciting new exhibition at the Australian Museum! The world of dinosaurs is brought to life with skeletons, life-size recreated models, skulls, teeth, claws and hundreds of other fossils. The IMAX Big Screen Business program provides schools with 4 ways to study IMAX as a case study in HSC Business Studies:

1. Book an IMAX Student Talk (9.30am Mon to Thurs on selected dates).
2. See an IMAX film (usually 10am, after Talk).
3. Student Activity Sheets to complete on site.
4. Use the Resource Materials on CD back at school.

LIVING THINGS: BUGS & SEA BEASTIES
Ideal for Primary school students studying “Mini-Beasts” - this package combines a screening of Bugs! 3D at IMAX with a visit to the ‘sea beasties’ at Sydney Aquarium.
